Trigger Words

It used to be whole books that triggered responses in people.  Then essays, then poems, then sentences.   Now it's come down to words and by extension, thoughts.

Here is my top ten list of trigger words

1. Fair/fair share
2. Justice/injustice
3. equal/inequality
4. white privilege
5. racist
6. undocumented
7. denier
8. sexist
9. radical
10. Trigger word

It's ironic that the progressives (another trigger word for me) use these words the most frequently.   I assume it is to foment unrest in their base constituencies by branding anyone who does not bow to their beliefs as somehow morally deficient.

Back for now

I wonder why people don't blog any more?  I think it's because they want instant gratification that comes with just a few clicks of 'like", "share", and then making comments that are limited to just a few words.

Nobody wants to think about the reality of the world or their own lives.   Blogging takes time to formulate the thought and then transfer to words that make sense (and are spelled correctly).

  I think I will post this just to see if anyone is listening.  Not that I've said anything or that it matters to me if I have or haven't.  I may just start posting as a way to remember the events of the day (rather than writing a diary),
